Haggard Permanently Removed from His Church

The sad news from the New Life Church’s Overseer Board: “Our investigation and Pastor Haggard’s public statements have proven without a doubt that he has committed sexually immoral conduct.”
We can pray for Pastor Haggard, for his church and his family, and for the greater glory of God. And let us keep a close watch on our own hearts and lives. Let us tremblingly remember that “there but for the grace of God, go I.”
“But you, beloved, build yourselves up in your most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit; keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. And have mercy on those who doubt; save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh.
