Albert Mohler on Homosexuality
Dr. Mohler responds to the firestorm in the media over his recent article on homosexuality.
In my opinion, Dr. Mohler is one of the foremost Christian thinkers in our day on the theological and pastoral implications of homosexuality. He compassionately and biblically addresses both practicing homosexuals and sincere Christians who struggle (for whatever reason) with same-sex attraction patterns. I commend his articles to all who are seeking to wrestle with this issue. For pastors seeking to counsel such individuals, Mohler's insights are a must-read.

Comments
It was very unfortunate that so many media outlets misinterpreted Dr. Mohler's original blog (e.g. The front page of the March 16th Louisville Courier newspaper had the title, Mohler: Babies may be born gay). Nevertheless, I believe the firestorm will result in genuine conversations, especially among God's people, and it may help people to consider the pervasiveness of sin as the Fall has indeed impacted the cosmos and our genes as a result. Even so, Christians have an obligation to faithfully and loving share the gospel with homosexuals while encouraging those Christians who may have same-sex desires to combat those tendencies as they seek to put on Christ.
I appreciate Dr. Mohler's courage and for his analysis and synthesis of bioethical and cultural issues.
